<p>I grew up in a low-income divorced family. I never once thought I would have a pathway to success because I didn't know what it looked like. My military experience and education taught me to just keep pushing forward. This led me to start 7 different businesses by the time I was 35. I can also owe this success to the Lacey and Thurston County communities, which is a driving factor in me giving back with service.</p><p>Running a local government has so much in common with running a local business. The lessons taught here will be of great service to the county. <p>I've been a sitting Lacey City Councilmember for the past 3 years. I've been a driving force in bringing the council together. I strive to be a bridge between different backgrounds and perspectives.
